CHAOSWAVE, an impressive band in balance between aggressive guitars, bass, drums and atmospheric vocal lines. While the music is repeatedly made aggressive with the help of the guitars 7th string, the atmosphere is achieved through the shared vocal lines of Fabio and Giorgia. All along the bass and drums are working together to keep the music 'in-your-face'.

Any fans of female-fronted metal such as AFTER FOREVER, ARCH ENEMY, LACUNA COIL, FLOWING TEARS, THE GATHERING and KITTIE should give this band a look. They're experienced musicians and may get very big.

I think they're one of those very, very rare bands who combine traditional metal virtues such as genuinely heavy riffing and solos with a more accessible, modern approach to metal. The fact I'd recommend them to fans of so many musically different bands shows their diversity. Give them a try, they've got a lot of good reviews :D

Hey, been reading this community for a while, though I might as well post. I'm Cal; I'm 19, and live in Melbourne, Australia. I'm unemployed, though I'm hoping to make it as a screenwriter. Going back to university next year.

I listen to almost all forms metal except numetal, though I got over power metal a while ago, and my favourite bands are Opeth, Disillusion, Katatonia, Isis, Mastodon, Cynic, Maudlin Of The Well, Nile, Amon Amarth and Capharnaum. The only metal acts I've seen in concert were Opeth, and some local Aussie acts (Blood Duster, Bowelmouth, a few other good ones). I keep missing out on all the big shows - In Flames, Nightwish and Megadeth have all toured here this year and I haven't had the cash to see them. Ah well.

Everybody seems to want bands similar to Lacuna Coil; I'm no exception. I don't find Nightwish does the job for me, though. Any other ideas? Also, anybody know of any bands reminiscent of Opeth, or any doom/death bands that are like early Katatonia (Brave Murder Day era) other than Rapture or November's Doom?

Hey... New to the community... nice to meet you!

I'm into the usual bands you'd expect someone posting in this community to like... I was wondering if anyone's going to see Sonata Arctica play at Thirteenth Day this year (for those of you in the UK!)

Sonata Arctica, Norther, Fintroll, Epica, Dragonland, Intense and Seasons End are all playing! ? It's like... £18 for a ticket but the line up is really good!

Allllsoooo... recommend me some cool female fronted bands like Nightwish/Lacuna :D
